Getting your first campaign live takes about 15 minutes for the initial intake form, plus pixel installation on your store. Here is what to prepare, and what happens after.
Before you start
Have these ready:
- Admin access to your Shopify store
- The product page URLs you want to promote
- Video or static creative assets
- Someone who can install a pixel on your store
- Any discount codes or promotions you'd like featured in your Product Ads, with end dates
- Landing pages
Step 1: Complete the setup form
Complete the 15-minute setup form to give us the details we need to build your campaign. If you have any questions, please reach out to your Liftoff Account Manager. You will need details about your website, pixel, campaign, reporting, and creatives.
The form will also ask for a landing page. This can be your homepage or one of your top product or collection pages. In Product Ads, this is where shoppers land if they tap outside of a specific product.
Step 2: Install the Liftoff pixel
Follow the steps here to install the Liftoff pixel on your Shopify store. Let your Account Manager know once it is in place; we will verify that events are arriving correctly before your campaign goes live.
Step 3: Send us your creatives
Review the asset requirements and creative best practices, then share your assets with creative-assets@liftoff.io and your Account Manager.
We recommend refreshing your creatives every 4-6 weeks to keep ads fresh and to maintain engagement and performance.
What happens next
Your Account Manager will confirm the pixel is firing, build your campaign, and launch it.
Give the campaign at least two to four weeks before making major budget decisions. Liftoff's machine learning needs time to identify your ideal buyers. Your Account Manager monitors performance closely and makes optimization adjustments throughout.
Making changes after launch
Contact your Account Manager for landing page changes, creative refreshes, and new or updated promotions. These can usually be turned around within one to two business days.
Important: If you rename, remove, or redirect a product page URL that is linked to your campaign, tell your Account Manager immediately. Changing URLs without notifying us can send users to the wrong page.
